Jonathan Jones, '13
Improvement Engineer, Dow AgroSciences LLC
Jonathan Jones is a 2013 Biochemical Engineering graduate and Improvement Engineer at Dow Agrociences LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dow AgroSciences is committed to increasing crop innovation through sustainable agriculture, higher yields, and targeted pest management. As Fermentation Improvement Engineer in the bioprocessing and bioengineering sector, Mr. Jones is responsible for identifying and leading key value-improving projects to maximize laboratory capabilities, reliability, and asset management for advanced fermentations. Mr. Jones is a member of the UGA College of Engineering Advisory Board and serves as an alumni mentor.

Scotty Smith, '16
Ph.D. student, Georgia Institute of Technology
Scott (Scotty) Howard Smith is a current Ph.D. student, U.S. Department of Energy (NEUP) Fellow, and Presidential Scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His current research is focused on the theoretical and computational understanding of freezing phenomena in porous and brittle media, but has also conducted research in areas related to life-cycle assessments of common construction materials and shock physics. During his time at the University of Georgia, where he received a B.S. in Civil Engineering, he served as the President of ASCE, the Vice-President and Project Manager of EWB, and was a Student Ambassador for the College of Engineering. Scotty also worked as an undergraduate research assistant in multiple departments beginning in his freshman year, co-authoring 3 papers and giving numerous conference posters and presentations.

Brian Crow, '97
Executive Vice President, Analytics & Software Solutions, Sensus
Brian Crow is a 1997 Agricultural Engineering graduate and the Executive Vice President of Analytic Solutions at Sensus. Sensus is a manufacturer of Smart Grid equipment and communications networks used by electric, water, and gas utilities around the world. In 2009, Mr. Crow co-founded a technology start up, Verdeeco, answering the need for data analytics and innovative analytic solutions in the utility sector. He served as CEO of Verdeeco until it was acquired by Sensus in April 2014. His wife, April Hembree Crow, also graduated from UGA with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and was named to UGA's 40 Under 40 in 2012. They have two children, Garner and Greer, and live in Atlanta.

Danny Johnson, '02
Water Resources Engineer, Atlanta Regional Commission
Danny is a water resources engineer working for the Atlanta Regional Commission and serving as the manager of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District. The Metro Water District coordinates the water resource management planning for the 15 county metro Atlanta region. Mr. Johnson previously served as an engineering consultant on small and large scale water, wastewater and reuse infrastructure design projects for public utilities in the southeast. Mr. Johnson earned his Agricultural Engineering Degree with a Natural Resources emphasis in 2002 and is an Atlanta resident.
