As Fermentation Improvement Engineer in the Bioprocessing and Bioengineering sector of Dow AgroSciences LLC, Jones is responsible for identifying and leading key value-improving projects to maximize laboratory capabilities, reliability, and asset management for advanced fermentations. Prior to his work as Fermentation Improvement Engineer in Indianapolis, IN, Jones served as the Microbiology and Fermentation Production Engineer in Harbor Beach, MI.
A 2013 graduate of the University of Georgia, Jones holds a B.S. degree in BioChemical Engineering from the College of Engineering. While at UGA, he served as senator for the College of Engineering and was inducted into UGA Blue Key Society. In 2013, he received both the Black Engineer of the Year Award for Student Leadership and the Outstanding College of Engineering Student Award.
