The College of Engineering Presents: Enhancing Diversity Brown Bag Series
At The University of Georgia, The College of Engineering's Brown Bag Series is intended to stimulate the sharing and discussion of current issues in diversity, equity, and inclusion as they relate to STEM, Engineering, and allied fields.
Goals of the Brown Bag Series:
- Increase awareness of various diversity initiatives within the College of Engineering and throughout campus
- Bring college and campus community together to discuss and exchange ideas about best practices for improving diversity, equity and inclusion in practice and in teaching
- Discuss existing social justice issues taking place statewide, nationally and globally
- Provide opportunities to discuss current topics regarding diversity and inclusion as it relates to equity, privilege, bias, and resilience
- Foster the sharing of information and resources to strengthen our college and work environment
