ASCE AwardsThe UGA College of Engineering was well represented at this weekend’s ASCE Georgia Section Annual Awards Gala! A hearty
congratulations is in order for the following three awardees:

  • Arthur Taran ’23, UGA ASCE VP, Concrete Canoe Captain, and Conference Chair – Civil Engineering Student of the Year
  • Jidong Yang, Associate Professor – Civil Engineer of the Year
  • David Glassman, UGA ASCE Student Chapter Practitioner Advisor – Young Civil Engineer of the Year
