Capstone Design Showcase

Each year, Capstone Design students present at the Capstone Design Showcase, displaying their prototypes, designs, and solutions developed for their projects. During the event, projects are evaluated by a judging team comprised of engineering professionals in both industry and academia. Capstone projects are evaluated based on criteria aligned with the learning outcomes outlined by ABET. Awards are given for the best projects in the following categories:

Community Impact
Computerized System or Software Design
Machine Design
Manufactured System or Process Design
Medical Device or Biological Process Design
Sustainable Design

2025-2026 Capstone Design industry judges, partners, clients, and faculty are invited to attend project viewing, the award ceremony, and a partner reception.

Partner & Faculty Reception | 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres & refreshments will be provided
Showcase Awards Ceremony | 4:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Call for Judges

The college is seeking professionals who would be willing to serve as judges and lend their time, expertise, and knowledge to assist in evaluating our 2025- 2026 Capstone Design projects. We ask that judges be available from 11:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on the day of the showcase- lunch and refreshments will be provided.
