This project is overseen by Biological Engineering faculty mentor Dr. Cheryl Gomillion. The Air Force Biocontainment System Project is intended for students to design a module that is capable of containing patients infected with COVID-19 in order to protect air crew and operations crew from COVID-19 and other airborne illnesses while in transport of the module in the back of a cargo aircraft.
