College connects with Savannah industries

Eugene Talmadge Bridge in SavannahAs part of an effort to build new connections with business and industry around the state, the University of Georgia College of Engineering will host a breakfast meeting with industry leaders in Savannah April 21.

UGA College of Engineering Dean Donald Leo and members of the college leadership team will provide industry officials with an overview of UGA’s fastest-growing college. They will also discuss ways business and industry can become involved with the college and its students through internships, co-ops and other programs.

The “Engaging Engineering Industry Breakfast” will take place at the Hilton Savannah DeSoto beginning at 7:30 a.m. Industry officials interested in attending the breakfast may contact Kelley Saussy, Director of Experiential Programs.
