A representative of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office will speak on the University of Georgia campus April 14 in an event co-sponsored by the UGA Innovation Gateway and the UGA College of Engineering.
Heidi Riviere Kelley, a supervisory patent examiner in the USPTO’s Chemical and Material Arts Technology Center, will present “A Primer on the USPTO’s Activities and Initiatives.” The talk begins at 3 p.m. in the Paul D. Coverdell Center, room 104.
Kelley supervises a staff of patent examiners in the areas of biochemistry, bioanalytical and liquid purification systems.
