We’re celebrating a couple big wins from the recent American Society of Civil Engineers Georgia Section Annual Awards this month:
- Civil engineering student Kaely Jimenez was named ASCE Georgia Student of the Year. As the president of ASCE University of Georgia and a student ambassador, she’s already making an impact on campus and beyond.
- UGA Engineering alum Alec Metzger (BSBE ’99) was honored as Civil Engineer of the Year. Alec is the Senior VP at EMC Engineering Services Inc.
From student leaders to industry leaders, we’re proud to see Dawgs making a difference in the civil engineering sector.
