The IEEE student chapter at the University of Georgia College of Engineering won first place in the website design competition at the recent IEEE SoutheastCon. The conference in Norfolk, Virginia featured Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers student chapters from colleges and universities across the southeastern U.S.
The UGA Engineering students’ website, ieee.uga.edu, will go on to represent the southeast in the IEEE Global Student Web Site and Social Media Competition.
Students working on the website project were: Michael Melatti, John Park, Justin Tumale, Jey Britto, Michael Lastinger, Eric Refour, Antoinette Stevens, Jonathan Chong and Trent Walls.
