Why did you choose UGA? I come from a family of Bulldogs! I chose UGA, because I believed it provided an atmosphere you couldn't find anywhere else. Along with an exceptional engineering program, UGA provides a plethora of organizations and activiites that could help one explore avenues, both socially and academically. From tours, I saw first hand how proactive and caring our engineering program was towards its students, and I believed it was a great place to grow academically, professionally and individually.
Favorite Memory as a Bulldog Engineer? One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had at UGA’s College of Engineering was learning how to CAD a 3D model for the first time with AutoCAD. My passion for the field went ablaze the moment I was able to see my drawing slowly come to life on the print bed of the printer. As I watched the entire process of filament traveling through the extruder and hot end to create my drawing, all the countless nights struggling to decipher and understand isometric views suddenly became worth it. My all-time dream as a child was to be a toymaker, and it was incredible and heartwarming to see that I was very-well starting to take my first steps to being an aspiring-creator.
