The Office of Student Success and Corporate Engagement teams work closely with the UGA Career Center to provide comprehensive career and professional development resources for engineering students.
Career Appointments & Workshops
Students can meet 1-on-1 with the dedicated Engineering Career Consultant for job search strategies, résumé reviews, career exploration, salary negotiation, and more. Each Fall and Spring semester, multiple workshops and seminars are offered to assist students in their professional development.
Experiential Programs
Get crucial experience and build your engineering resumé by participating in our experiential learning opportunities such as internships, cooperative education, research, study abroad, and Capstone Design.
Networking & Employer Engagement
Connect with engineering professionals and learn about career opportunities by attending the Engineering and Computer Science Career & Internship Fair, Employer of the Day, and Engineers Week events. Be sure to check the college’s event calendar, for the full list of upcoming employer engagement events Students can also develop a mentoring relationship by participating in the UGA Mentor Program.
Newsletters & Online Resources
Each week, the Office of Student Success shares newsletters informing students of upcoming events, workshops, and job opportunities. Check your email each Monday for the Engineering Events & Announcements newsletter that includes student organization meeting details and engineering community events. On Wednesdays, you can expect an Experiential Learning & Careers Newsletter. Additionally, students can review self-paced, engineering-specific career development content by enrolling in the Career Development Resources for Engineering Undergraduate Students eLC modules.
