Tanesha Hitchcock

Tanesha Hitchcock, College of Engineering administrative associate, was recently named as one of UGA’s 2023 recipients of the Ed Wilker Memorial Egalitarian Award. The honor is awarded to staff members who encourage diversity and occupational excellence in their work.

Hitchcock received the award at UGA’s Black Faculty and Staff Organization (BFSO) Luncheon this semester.

“Tanesha is such a valued colleague and member of the College of Engineering team. She and her work make a positive impact on our students, faculty, staff, and visitors each and every day,” said Lauren Anglin, College of Engineering director of experiential learning and outreach. “It is wonderful to see Tanesha recognized in such a meaningful way by the university and the BFSO through her selection as a 2023 awardee for the Ed Wilker Memorial Egalitarian Award.”
