The Innovation and Future Programs group, which includes Preliminary Design and Advanced Flight Deck, is responsible for integrating customer requirements, providing a one-stop shop for aircraft and system capability roadmaps, streamlining requirements management and tracking, and providing process and strategy for disciplined innovation. Angel has served at Gulfstream since 2010, most recently as director of Preliminary Design. Among his contributions, he has managed a team to provide subsonic and supersonic aircraft concepts, established a cross-functional Advanced Products Team, and integrated a 20-year product roadmap with a refresh strategy and timeline for a new product segment. Angel received his bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Cal Poly State University and his master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Washington.
