Why did you choose UGA Engineering?
Choosing UGA Engineering was an easy choice based on its growing reputation for engineering, coupled with experiential learning and foundation in other disciplines. Additionally, UGA’s strong sense of community, extensive alumni network, and proximity to Atlanta provide valuable networking and career opportunities. The student life gives all the other universities in nation something to envy. After an initial visit, I knew that home is where the arch is.
Favorite Memory as a Bulldog Engineer?
Sitting at the goal line of the double overtime Rose Bowl between UGA and Oklahoma, with a free student ticket in hand, was the most exhilarating, surreal experience. The atmosphere was electric, with the roar of the crowd echoing in my ears little did I know that I was witnessing history in the making. When the final play happens, and UGA clinches the win, all I can remember is a joyous occasion filled with screaming, hugging, and maybe even tears. It’s the kind of experience that solidifies your bond with the university, making you feel like you’re not just a spectator but an integral part of something truly special.
