Emily Shirley
Academic Advisor, ECAM
Emily is an undergraduate academic advisor for the School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural, and Mechanical Engineering at UGA. She graduated from UGA with A.B. degrees in French and international affairs, then spent a year teaching English in St-Etienne, France.
Prior to joining the College of Engineering, she worked in the UGA Morehead Honors College, primarily coordinating the Foundation Fellowship scholarship program, where she first discovered her love of helping students pursue their goals. She enjoys travel planning, fancy cheese plates, coffee, science fiction and fantasy, theatre, and pursuing adventures great and small with her toddler, Rowan.
