Why did you choose UGA? When I was deciding what school I would attend for college, UGA was not on my list initally. I’m from Colorado and I knew I wanted to go out of state but I didn’t know much about Georgia nor the schools here. After my mom convinced me to apply to UGA and the pandemic hit, I realized I wanted to stay close to family (my mom was moving to Georgia and my brother attended GaTech), so I chose to go to UGA because I felt like I wanted a good balance between my social life and academics. However, after my first week here I knew I made the right decision.
Favorite Memory as a Bulldog Engineer? My favorite memory as a Bulldog Engineer was when NSBE sponsored a trip for some students to travel down to Atlanta for the Regional Conference and career fair. This trip was a blast as I got to deepen my bonds with other engineering students as well as land my first internship at Ford.
