Julie Secrist, PE is the President, Red Stone Group Development & Engineering. She is an expert in hydrology, site design for private site development projects including, mixed-use, office, residential and commercial developments as well as aviation planning and design. She has managed major expansion projects at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and is noted for her use of green spaces in large-scale site development.
Following graduation from the University of Georgia in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Julie accepted a series of leadership positions with the American Society of Civil Engineers Georgia Section; as the current President-Elect, she serves on the Georgia Board of Directors. Ms. Secrist also serves on the Board of the Georgia Engineering Foundation as Vice-President and is active on multiple committees for ASCE National and Urban Land Institute. However, one of her personal favorite roles is serving as current Chair for the UGA College of Engineering Advisory Board.
In her 15-year career, Julie has been recognized by several organizations including Georgia’s Young Engineer of the Year, UGA’s 40 Under 40, Top 100 Influential Women in Georgia and Young Civil Engineer of the Year for the Southeast United States.
