Fun Fact: My family has fostered over 150 cats! They tend to be itty bitty kittens, and we refer to them as “evergreen kittens” since we get new babies as soon as the older ones get adopted.

Why did you choose UGA? When I was looking at schools, I wanted to find a holistic environment that would support my academic and personal growth. I applied to a bunch of schools all over the south and east coast. Slowly I was able to narrow my decision down to Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia. Alabama offered really competitive out-of-state scholarships but had the smallest engineering program. Auburn was the polar opposite. Georgia was a balanced middle-ground. UGA was also a really appealing choice to me because of the Double Dawgs accelerated MBA program. Despite not being raised a Georgia fan, I have come to love this place so strongly. Athens has truly become my home, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else with any other people.

Favorite memory as a Bulldog Engineer?  I have really fond memories of making friends in my engineering classes. I love meeting other engineering students in class because it represents a nice cross-section of social and learning opportunities. I’m able to form study groups, bond over shared coursework, and recognize people all over campus. There’s no better feeling than walking into a new class and spotting a friend from a previous semester!
