Krzysztof J. Kochut is a professor in the School of Computing at the University of Georgia. His research interests include Knowledge Graphs (involving their construction, Machine Learning, data mining, and applications of knowledge graphs), Semantic Web and SPARQL query processing, ontology engineering, ontology-aided text processing, bioinformatics, Web services, and workflow processes. He mentors and supervises Ph.D. and M.S. Computer Science graduate students who focus on research in these areas.

Kochut usually teaches graduate and senior-level courses on Mobile Software Development, Software Engineering, Enterprise Integration, and Compiler Construction. Occasionally, I teach an introductory course on software development. He has been a faculty member in the Computer Science Department since 1987. From 2002 to 2008, he served as the Department Head of Computer Science. Currently, Kochut is the Associate Director in the School of Computing.
