Translational Technologies to Combat Thromboinflammation

Medical devices that interact with blood – such as vascular implants and extracorporeal systems – often provoke a thromboinflammatory response, limiting their safety and long-term use. Our research focuses on developing translational biomimetic technologies inspired by endogenous biological mechanisms to reduce clinical complications, enabling improved performance of next-generation medical devices and therapies.
