Dr. Seok-Jun Kang is a Limited Term Instructor in the School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural, and Mechanical Engineering (ECAM) at the University of Georgia. His teaching interests include engineering decision-making, geotechnical engineering, underground structures, and numerical analysis. His current research focuses on nondestructive evaluation of transportation infrastructure using ground-penetrating radar (GPR), as well as satellite-based environmental monitoring using synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and other Earth observation data. He is also interested in various research areas including geotechnical and infrastructure engineering, with particular emphasis on numerical modeling.
