Why did you choose UGA? I chose UGA for its unique ability to combine a rigorous engineering program with a truly supportive environment. As a first-generation Hispanic student in STEM, I wanted a community that was competitive yet empowering. UGA is a place where I can connect, flourish, and feel like I belong since day one.
Favorite Memory as a Bulldog Engineer? Taking flight with UGA’s Design/Build/Fly team was my favorite Bulldog memory. I was able to travel to this year’s competition in Kansas and was able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to compete. It perfectly captured the competitive yet supportive environment that drew me to UGA’s engineering program in the first place.
