Hosted by Emory University’s Goizueta Energy and Environment Group, the event is a multidisciplinary competition that brings students together to solve some of sustainability’s most thought-provoking issues. Each team has one week to design an innovative solution to a real-world challenge. This year’s challenge, which attracted 40 teams, was to design a plan that would allow Atlanta to reach its goal of 100% renewable energy usage by 2035.
