Students interested in the optical engineering field are invited to join the University of Georgia College of Engineering’s new chapter of SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics. Organizers say the UGA Engineering SPIE chapter will host socials and networking events, provide members opportunities to attend conferences and field trips, and provide information regarding scholarships, grants and job opportunities.
