UGA Advantage: Double Dawgs

UGA Advantage: Double Dawgs

The Double Dawgs Program enables students to pursue dual BS-MS degrees with the opportunity to complete both programs in five years.

In addition to our existing BS-MBA Dual Degree Program, the College of Engineering is introducing eight new Double Dawg Programs:

  • Agricultural Engineering - BS-MS
  • Biological Engineering - BS-MS
  • Biochemical Engineering - BS-MS
  • Environmental Engineering - BS-MS
  • Civil Engineering BS - MS Engineering with Civil Engineering Emphasis
  • Mechanical Engineering BS - MS Engineering with Mechanical Engineering Emphasis
  • Computer Systems Engineering BS - MS Engineering with ECE Emphasis
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering BS - MS Engineering with ECE Emphasis

Each creates a pathway for a BS engineering student engaged in undergraduate research with a faculty mentor to complete 12 hours of graduate coursework during their final undergraduate semesters, graduate with a BS, then complete their research and coursework for the thesis master of science receiving a BS and MS in 5 years.
